Executive VP - Business Development - California

The Executive VP Business Development is responsible for driving net new sales and revenue from prospective clients. Sells solutions through prospecting, networking and executing on marketing initiatives to increase the Leeward Digital (LD) footprint on the West Coast, resulting in revenue growth and quota attainment.

Responsibilities:

  • Expand LD’s business base of sustainable, profitable business, consistent with corporate goals.
  • Present LD’s capabilities message to potential business customers to assure LD serves those customers’ best interest in ways that others cannot.
  • Make personal and professional connections, establish business-relevant relationships to proactively foster business growth in current technology markets and expand business in new markets.
  • Interface with small businesses, mid-sized companies and other entities to discover problems and put LD contracting solutions in place.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the current and prospective small to mid-sized marketplace in which LD conducts and plans to conduct business.
  • Become very knowledgeable of LD’s technologies, tools, current and past contract performance, available or potential contract vehicles, subject matter experts, and so on, for the purpose of qualifying potential business opportunities as consistent with LD corporate business goals and objectives.
  • Leverage LD Small Business RFP / RFI and Grant methods, tools and contract solutions to study problems and put contract solutions in place.
  • Interface with LD business development and operational personnel to grow new work opportunities
  • Present LD capabilities and contracting solutions
  • Populate and mature leads in the LD business development opportunity pipeline.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Live in the Southern California, Orange County Region
  • 15+ years actively working with IT recruiting / technology / software firms
  • Experience creating and developing business development leads and growing work.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams (i.e. project managers, software developers, test engineers, program analysts)
  • Ability to work independently with geographically dispersed team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with MS Excel and other MS Office tools

IT Systems Specialist - Irvine, California

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and perform on-site visits to client to set up and troubleshoot equipment
  • Assist customers with all technology-related moves/adds/changes
  • Configure, install, and maintain IT users' desktop software and hardware including current versions of Windows, Mac and MS Office products
  • Troubleshoot PC/MAC issues remotely
  • Troubleshoot general network infrastructure problems including networking equipment, printers, PC/Server hardware, etc.
